This Icarus features a 5 piece Maple/Black Walnut
neck with a Cocobolo fingergoard. An African Mahogany body with a
one piece flamed Maple top. A set of Smoke Stack humbuckers from
BG Pups, 5-way rotary switch with auto coil splitting round out the
electronics. A Wilkinson Tremolo, graph tech nut and Planet
Wave's Auto-trim locking tuners jumbo frets round out the package.
The finish is what I call Faded Blue stain. I started with
a deep blue stain and sanded it back to get the faded look and really
pop the grain on this gorgeous piece of flamed maple. It has a
natural faux binding, and the neck is finished in Tru-Oil.
